I read this on the Secret Santa list and don't think I commented, so I wanted to comment now to tell you that I love it. LOVE it. It may in fact be one of my all-time favorite Due South stories. I have a thing for werewolf stories and Ray stories and Fraser stories so to have them all combined is like... well, Christmas. ;D You did a really wonderful job with making the animals and their actions be very natural without being anthropomorphized (does it count as anthropowhatsits if the animal is in fact a person?), and with keeping the suspense throughout. Really, I have no complaints, only compliments which, if I were to go on with them, would probably make you take out a restraining order. You are awesome, this is awesome, and this story is made of joy. Well, angsty joy, but still. \o/
