I'm really excited about this fic exchange. Really, very excited about it :) So this crazy long and rambling letter is just me being stupid excited - and really, I'm not that picky or particular, I just love fic and I'm going to be thrilled with whatever you come up with :)

1. Joe Dick/Duck MacDonald

I have these two basic ideas about this pairing:

1. Seeing Ducks wilder youth. Joe and him could meet up in a bar, or Duck could be attending a Hard Core Logo show (man, how hot would young-punk-Duck be? Still quiet, but an angry young man, kind of yeah-I'm-queer-what-of-it?) ... *returns from happy place in head* Erm, so yeah, seeing Duck when he was maybe hitting the alcohol a little too hard, when he was away from Wilby and acting out, and not being the calm, zen-like guy we see in the movie.

2. Duck offering Joe a break from his crazy life. Maybe while Billy is in L.A.? Again, they could meet up in bar, or just on the road. Joe could stay the night and sleep off his hangovers in Duck's bed. You know, just Duck being Duck, and making Joe calm down for two seconds (or a day or two).

For this pairing I'm really more interested in how the characters' personalities work together than the doppelganger thing, so I'd be fine with no overt mention of Duck's likeness to Billy, or maybe just letting it be a slight likeness, and not an exact copy :)

(Hey and another thing that could be awesome? All of the above - femmeslashed *g*)

2. Duck MacDonald/Dan Jarvis

This could both be relationshippy stuff (straight after the movie get-together-fic or down-the-road stuff) or pre-movie exploring just how well Duck and Dan actually knew each other before the Watch scandal. I really like the quietness of these two characters, and if you could make that come through in the story, that would be wonderful :) Also, I'm a sucker for descriptions of island life and of mention of all the other Wilby characters.

3. Joe Dick/Craig Zwiller

Doppelganger fic :D Craig wants to do a guy - Joe just wants to do Billy *g* This could be smut or crack or angst or anything.

4/5. Emily Anderson/female character

I just love Emily. And I would love to see her with another girl. This could be set immediately after the movie, or years down the road. Inclusion of Sandra, Duck, Dan or just mentions of the island and island life would thrill me to no end :)

General stuff

I think I put down "fluff" as something that I didn't want? I'm a gloomy Scandinavian *g* and so I'm a hard sell on stories that are too sweet or uncomplicated. I do like to see the characters happy and in love, but I also like to see them put to work to get there, or to have just a little bitter mixed in with the sweet.

I prefer plot or character study to porn, but that's not to say that the two things can't go together...
