Warnings: Homophobia (historical), mentions of suicidal behaviour

Author's Notes: This story is a historical AU, taking place in the 1920's. It was written for [info]sageness  in 2010's midsummer secret santa, and rewritten in June '11. Thank you so much to my betas: [info]imaginethetruth , [info]mizface  and [info]nos4a2no9  for all your help!

Author's notes: Heaps of love and gratitude to [info]sotto_voice  for being such a thorough and kind and encouraging beta! And equally much love and gratitude to RL friend [info]katekane  for taking the time to read this through and giving me some awfully helpful pointers! :)

Inspired by some very cool people on my flist, I'm going to try offering to write something for [livejournal.com profile] help_pakistan, too. I'm offering at least a thousand words, in any of the fandoms I've previously written for (plus a couple of new ones).

... So, if there's someone who'd like to donate a couple of dollars to a good cause, and get bonus fanfic at the same time, I'd love to write something for you :)

Here's what I'm offering.

Two HCL stories that I wrote in a frenzy for [livejournal.com profile] pacifi_cant  a little while back. They've been cleaned up a little since then, but are still unbetaed.

Rating: PG
Summary: Once winter set in, it was hard for them to keep warm in the hut.

Author's notes: This was written for [livejournal.com profile] lies_d , for the 2009 Yuletide Treasure. I was happy to learn that I am not the only one with a nostalgic relationship to this movie :) Also, I am not embarrassed by this fic. Not even a little.

Title: Stories from the Bar
Fandom: Firefly
Pairing/Characters: Jayne/Inara
Rating: PG-13
Summary: So. It happened the only way it could happen: with Mal out of the picture - busted up in sick bay from another heroic and dumb act - and Jayne and Inara getting themselves drunk enough to move from the melancholy to the morose, and into the straight out maudlin.

Author's notes: First of all, thank you to foxrafer for being my first reader over at [livejournal.com profile] ficfinishing . And thank you to [livejournal.com profile] octoberxsong for betaing the final product. This story was written for my roommate [livejournal.com profile] luciusb , as part of a scheme to make her write me Mal/Zoe/Wash *nudge, nudge*

Title: Ghost Song
Fandom: Due South
Pairing/Characters: Kowalski/Fraser, Victoria, Diefenbaker
Rating: Hmmmm... NC-17, mostly for angst and violent imagery?
Summary: It appears on the fire escape one late evening in early winter, big and dark and silent.

Author's notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] akamine_chan , for the 2009 Due South Seekrit Santa. The writing of this story correlated with complete crazy!time at work, and I owe so much gratitude to [livejournal.com profile] china_shop  for taking on this beast of a story at a late hour, and making an epic effort betaing it into shape. Also, to [livejournal.com profile] malnpudl  for helping me out with lupine/canine behaviour in her thourough and kind and enthusiastic way. Thank you so much, both of you!

[livejournal.com profile] luciusb , who is both my roommate and my Real Life beta, was also kind enough to listen to me obsess, rant and despair about this story for weeks without telling me to shut up - even offering encouragement and constructive advice. Thank you!

Pairing/Characters: Joe Dick, Billy Tallent, John Oxenberger
Rating: NC-17 for violent imagery
Disclaimers: I own absolutely nothing, except a great love of the movie Hard Core Love and the magazine Rolling Stone.
Summary: Joe Dick, punk rocker and front man of the moderately succesful Hard Core Logo, shot himself on December 5th, 1995. On tape. Following director Bruce MacDonald's controversial decision to cut and release his movie documenting the last weeks of Dick's life, Rolling Stone offers you an in-depth look into the life of Joe Dick and Hard Core Logo...

After finishing my studies, I've decided to go travelling a bit before starting work (as a certified nurse, yikes, how come I don't feel like one?). My travels are going to bring me to the Seattle/Vancouver area, approx. between September 7th and 10th. If there are any fangirls in that area who would like to meet up for a cup of coffee and a chat, I would love to meet some of the fabulous people who's fiction and meta, and sometimes life stories, I've been reading about for the last four years :)

I'm exeterlinden at hotmail dot com. Drop me a note :)

All the best to all of you,
Linden

Title: Easy as one, two, three
Fandom: Shelter
Pairing/Characters: Zach/Shaun, Cody, OCs
Rating: PG
Spoilers: none
Summary:
Cody has a school presentation.

Author's notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] smallfandomfest . Once again, a huge big thank you to

[profile] moon_destiny  for betaing :D I had the idea for this story after watching a documentary - Daddy & Papa - which deals with gay adoption in an intelligent, touching and humourous way. I f you're at all interested in that sort of thing, I really recommend buying this DVD from the official website.

Title: Some laws should be broken from the start
Fandom: Shelter
Pairing/Characters: Zach/Shaun, Cody
Rating: PG-13
Spoilers: none
Summary:
Zach and Cody's first day in Los Angeles.

Author's Notes:
Many, many thanks to my beta [profile] moon_destiny ! This is shamelessly self-indulgent domestic schmoop, with a weird title. I hope you like it :)

Title: Pacific Bluff
Author:[livejournal.com profile] exeterlinden
Fandom: Shelter
Pairing/Characters: Zach
Rating/Category: PG-13
Spoilers: none
Summary: "Hey, I'm looking for a book by Shaun Andrews - Pacific Bluff?"
"Sure, it's upstairs on your left, under gay lit."

Thank you to my beta [profile] moon_destiny !

This story was written for the 2009 [livejournal.com profile] smallfandomfest . If you're not familiar with Shelter - which is a slightly flawed, but extremely charming and well shot/acted, low-budget gay film from 2007 - I can recommend reading this fandom pimp by [personal profile] true_enough  and this one by [livejournal.com profile] christinchen . And, of course, I can highly recommend watching the movie, too :)
